Data Science Application in Public Health
The health data science research work aims to combine statistical and computing skills to manage and analyze health care data to answer the critical question in health care. The research work involves developing statistical and machine learning models to draw scientific conclusions from data.
Women empowerment index, low birth weight and malnutrition
- Women empowerment plays a significant role in measuring several sustainable development goals, especially Goal-5 (Gender equality). Similarly, low birth weight and malnutrition play a key role in monitoring SDG Goal-3 ( Good health and well being). We are trying to track this goal by measuring women empowerment index, low birth weight, and malnutrition of a south Asian developing country. This work will help the corresponding authority track the specified SDG goal to achieve it by 2030.
